Hello! Happy Friday!!! Lori here today! Anja will be back soon! I am sharing a quick layout I did using Doodlebug's new collection "Love Bugs"!! Soooooo cute!!! I really like the orange & salmon tones mixed into the paper, adding a little touch of boyishness!! I also used a new Memory Box Stencil "Heart Confetti" and some Distress Ink (Barn Door) to add the hearts in the punched out circles. Punched hearts scattered around and popped up added the finishing touches! Thanks for having a look and enjoy your day!!

Good morning everyone! I have been colouring this Penny Black image "Fairy Holly", for awhile now. I finally finished her last week. I used my Derwent Inktense Pencils. I have coloured her previously in a more traditional fashion, but wanted to try something new....Black! So happy with how her dress folds turned out! I fussy cut her out when I was done, and popped her up on the background. The white cardstock was embossed with a Taylored Expression Folder "Winter Flurry", and then I used Wink of Stella Clear Glitter on the Snow Globe and the snowflakes. Quite a different look for a Christmas/Winter Card!
For next Wonderful Wednesday will be making a Valentines Card using Iris Folding. What is Iris folding you ask, well it is a technique that involves folding strips of paper in such a way it forms a design. There are lots of sites to get patterns for Iris folding. This is the site where I got the heart pattern. I cut the heart out with my Silhouette because I didn't have a heart shape die cut. I used wrapping paper to do the folds because I found using designer paper a little thick.
If you do come out you will need a bone folder, scotch tape, scissors and foam pop ups. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
I fell head over heels for this amazing set by Taylored Expressions. Not only does Tea-Riffic focus just on one of the loves of my life- tea- but it comes with a die to match! Yep- it was destined to come home with me!
I coloured it up with my copic markers and added some glaze to the cups. Enamel dots, pastel paper and a ribbon helped set this birthday card up.
Sharing another card with you today. A sympathy card this time, I like to keep those simple.
I am falling in love with watercolouring.....it's so easy....and you can do it with your distress inks. Just put your inkpad upside down on your craft mat and spray some water on it. Use a good quality watercolour paper, I like this one, and make it wet before you put any colour on and just have fun!!! Once your piece is dry, stamp over it with Versafine black. Here I have used this set from PENNY BLACK , this set has a couple of different little birds to add a nice touch. The sentiment is from Just Rite. On the left side I scored some lines, it is hard to see in the picture. Hope you like it! Till next time, Anja
