I am thankful to live close enough to SGD so I can participate in all your wonderful events and activities. The staff and fellow crafters at SGD are truly some of the nicest people on this planet! I say "CHEERS" to SGD because "Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name"... It's that kind of place!

Just received my order this morning from SGD and thought I'd look for some inspiration on your site. This is the first time I've check out your blog. found some great ideas And a great giveaway! Having fun making cards for family and friends and getting ready for the big day. Love that Hero Arts stamp, could make some nice cards with that! I will be counting down with you. Wishing everyone a fun holiday season
CONGRATULATIONS!!!  Please contact us at with your address and we will get your stamp out to you!!  Just put BLOG CANDY WINNER in the subject line!!  Thanks so much!!

Today we have these two fabulous stamps to give away:

  1. I don't feel terribly celebratory today. The killing spree yesterday is too fresh in all our minds and I cannot imagine the grief of families who were going about their busy lives approaching the holidays to have everything destroyed in a flash. I know Sheila and her family understand loss maybe better than most of us.... But while you can replace things or learn to live without them, the loss of children is so horrible nothing can ease that pain.

    1. It was a sad sad day yesterdsy, so senseless, such a tragedy. We must make each day count, make a difference, hug our loved ones tighter. We are keeping all those affected by the tragedy yesterday in our thoughts and prayers.

  2. It is a sad day for sure. My heart goes out to all of those poor families.
I will be in my scrap room today working on some Christmas gifts!

  3. What a great giveaway!!! Love that character--reminds me of Hollie Hobby, which people have told I looked like when I was a little one!

It's terrible news about yesterday==feel terrible sadness for the people involved. Makes one think about this society...and yet, we have little joys like your blog to remind us of the good in the world.

  4. Feeling terribly sad today, my heart goes out to all those families facing the most horrific loss of all, the loss of their innocent children. Truly a day to hug someone you love or someone who may just need one, over and over again

  5. We are off to find our Christmas tree today (: It's a little later than usual but that's OK. We all hop in the truck and drive down the bush roads looking for the perfect tree. Our 10 year old likes to cut the tree down now!!
Thanks for the chance to win such great prizes from an awesome store!!!

  6. Why can't I post here??????

  7. Finally! I tried 7 times to post and it just wouldn't work. Thanks SGD for this awesome contest! Off to wrap some gifts....

  8. This morning I have finished my Christmas shopping and now will spend the day with the kids enjoying our time together! Some Wii Mario cart and arts and crafts. And just signed up for a class!!!! Whoooo hooooo

  9. I'm so glad I participated in the countdown, and won a stamp! An early Christmas present. Good Luck everyone and Happy Holidays! Keep counting down!

  10. I think we all have heavy hearts today.
Every year I put up my miniature Nativity set. It just wouldn't be Christmas without it. I have a little wooden manger and the ceramic figurines are placed in and around with light shining from faux candles. It helps me remember the true meaning of Christmas amongst all the commercial craziness.
(Thank you for the stamp I won yesterday! SGD is so generous!)

  11. So sad, and so senseless. Prayers go out to all the families affected. I can only imagine the grief they must feel. And those poor police, ambulance, etc. that saw first hand the scene and have to have that in their minds the rest of their life.

  12. Feeling sad about yesterday's tragedy. Played Christmas music in the car today when I went to a friend's Bead for Life party. It was very uplifting to see what these Ugandan women are doing to make their lives better. Give your loved ones a hug today!

  13. Hearts to the families.... I think about this on and off ,we are so thankful for what we have and where we live.give everyone you cherish a hug today

  14. Lovely stamps and how fun of you to be doing this giveaway! I, too, was saddened to read about the tragedy in the US - boy that is a tough one to explain to my daughter.
