  1. I won! Woohoo!! Thanks SGD!! And Congrats to all the winners so far! This is an amazing contest from the most amazing store in London! I know, technically you're not in
London, but close enough!! Wow- only 8 days to go until Christmas! Today I will be making some painted chocolates, which will probably take me the better part of the afternoon - sitting still, meticulously working with every colour of chocolate imaginable! But first. Off to the Canada Games Aquatic Center to get these bones moving for awhile! Cheers!

  5. Can't believe the time has gone so fast and Christmas is almost here. Still have a bit of shopping left to do and some wrapping. Luckily, my daughter likes to wrap, so she's a big help. The truth is, she does most of the wrapping! Poor girl is home from school with a sore throat today. I hope she's well soon. Nobody wants to be feeling sick at Christmas. Stay healthy everyone and have a great day!

  10. I am also loving your Countdown Candy contest! It really brightens up a dreary Monday. I have a few cards left to finish today. Once you start giving handmade cards there is no going back to store bought! Everyone expects handmade and won't accept anything else. Which is great because I love making them too.

  12. I have done some of my baking but still have to make the shortbread. Tomorrow is my cooking and wrapping day... plus I have to make devilled eggs for my DS's school potluck lunch. I am aiming to finish the last cards tonight - it's easy when they only have to cross the street:-)

  14. Thanks Shelia for the giveaways! Congrats to the winners.
Our Christmas is usually spent visiting my MIL in NB. This year is different though because my niece (my sister's daughter) is getting married on New Year's Eve. So we are travelling to northwestern Ontario after Christmas to go to the wedding. I'm excited because it's been awhile since I've seen my sister & brother and their families.

  16. Those are very versatile! People have been unwell in our home, but dd and I are on the mend, just as hubby comes home from work fighting a cold. Oh, I do hope we are well for Christmas. Christmas Day is about getting together with family - this year at my brother's. Looking forward to it.
