Merry Christmas Everyone! The house is very quickly becoming decorated for Christmas & I have just a couple more items to bake & a few gifts to wrap. Youngest son is safely home from university, hurray & am planning the menu for the oldest son's birthday dinner on Sunday.Kyle turns 24, so the creative Mom has just found 24 different beer bottles to put candles in down the middle of the table. What a center piece it'll be. Cheers to all the wonderful ladies at SGD. Have a wonderful Christmas & the best for 2013. Deb

  5. I just got home, was out for a little while this morning to get some groceries. It was packed, can't imagine what the mall is like, but I;m going to have to find out tomorrow for some last minute things. Everyone is in such a hurry and so stressed by this time of year, I make a point of reminding myself of that and beibg polite and friendly no matter how jostled and pushed I ge. I think sometimes a friendly voice and a smile, when you don't expect it, amidst the chaos brings us back to earth and calms us down a bit. The reason I believe this is because it's happened to me! So good luck to you last-minuters, remember to keep smiling!

  8. Merry Christmas to everyone! I could really use the help of the "Wrapping Fairy." If you know where I could find her please pass along my name to her! If she does not show up you can find me in the basement with a glass of rum and eggnog and "Christmas Vacation" playing on the tv! Have a great holiday everyone and be safe!

  13. Too .... much.... wrapping.... but on the plus side, my defence son scored a goal today during a bitter hockey game, with our regular goalie and two forwards missing from the ice. I tell you, being a hockey mom can be tough:-)
