SGD's Customer Garage Sale!!

Are the drawers in your craft room bulging over? Is your scrap area overloaded with “stuff?!” Are you ready to clear out your stash that is collecting dust & taking up valuable space – space that could be used for all of those new papers, do-dads and gadgets you’ve been drooling over?! Now is the time to sort through your supplies to make room for the new! It's time to Fall clean your craft area with SGD's amazing Customer Garage Sale!!!

SGD's is once again hosting our incredibly popular customer garage sale for new and/or used scrapbooking, cardmaking and stamping products. So gather up your goodies, read the rules below, stop by the store, and purchase your boxes to receive your vendor number today! Registration to be a Vendor must be completed prior to October 18 and all vendor spaces/numbers are sold on a first-come basis. The cost to participate is $8 per letter-sized banker's box or $5 per space if you are using your own LETTER-SIZED BANKER’s box (to be fair to all Vendors, random sized boxes are not allowed). A total of 130 boxes/spaces will be available for purchase. We have sold out each and every event!! If you were a Vendor last year and wish to retain your Vendor number, please contact us asap as spots will go quickly!

How it works .... As a registered Vendor, you will be assigned a vendor number and are responsible to label each item clearly with your vendor number and item price. You set your own pricing. It is the Vendor's responsibility to ensure each sticker (with price/vendor #) is securely adhered to each item. Remember, a lot of people may handle your item, so make sure your Vendor #'s and pricing stickers are secure. You also have the option of choosing a Sunday discount of 25% or 50% off of the items remaining in your boxes. We will not disclose until Sunday morning which vendors have chosen this option - this is a fabulous way to seriously empty your boxes!!

You may sell paper crafting supplies that are related to scrapbooking, card-making and stamping. Examples are cutting tools, working punches, stamps, cardstock, patterned papers, paper packs, embellishments, ribbons, scrapbooking idea books, flowers, storage, etc. With the exception of Copic Markers (which are refillable), no markers, pens, or ink pads are allowed unless they are still in their factory-sealed packaging. No individual sheets of paper are to be sold. All loose paper should be grouped together in packages of min. 10 sheets. They must be in closed plastic bags or similar packaging. Papers that have matching embellishments in the same lot, can be packaged as a kit in a plastic bag and do not have to meet the minimum of 10 sheets. Extra large clear bags can be purchased at the Dollar Store.

One large item that will not fit in a box (ie: storage unit, crop bag) per person will be allowed. If you have more than one large item, an additional charge of $2/large item will apply.

Boxes may be dropped off at SGD's beginning Monday, October 17 at 10am until Friday, October 21 at 3pm. We do not have space to store boxes prior to this date, and we need all boxes handed in by 3pm on Friday in order to set up.

As a Vendor, you do not have to be present on the days of the sale. SGD's will fully staff the sale and track your proceeds for you! You will receive a Scrappin’ Great Deals store gift card for the full dollar amount of your items sold. No cash will be given. You may pick up your Scrappin’ Great Deals store gift card, and your boxes containing any unsold garage sale items, anytime AFTER 12 noon on Monday, October 24. Your gift cards will be ready by 12 noon as we will need time to calculate and activate gift cards. Any items not picked up by closing on Monday, October 31, 2016, will become the property of Scrappin’ Great Deals and will be donated to a charity of our choice. Scrappin’ Great Deals is not responsible for any lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged items due to disaster or theft. No refunds will be given for anyone that signs up for the garage sale but fails to bring in their items.

SHOPPERS attending our Garage Sale .... Entry for both Saturday & Sunday is a donation to the London Food Bank by way of non-parishable food or a $2 cash donation which will be collected at the door. All garage sale items are TAX-FREE. You are welcome to shop using cash, Visa, Mastercard or Debit. All items purchased from the garage sale are final sale. Payment for garage sale items cannot be made using a SGDs gift card. And remember, on Sunday several Vendors will have marked down what is remaining in their boxes by 25% or 50% ... !!! This is a win-win for everyone!!! To be fair to all Vendors & fellow-shoppers, there is to be no hoarding of items. Only take items from the boxes that you are truly interested in.
