Happy Friday! Sharing a fun card with you today, I wish you could see the sparkle better in the picture, this card will be on display at the store.
Lately I have been on a watercolour roll......so much fun and so many possibilities.
For this card I started with a piece of watercolour paper, size 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, and sprayed some clean water on it, this will make the ink spread out and you have a little control where you want it to go.
On an acrylic block, I put on some distress inks, tumbled glass, broken china and shabby shutters and on another block I sprayed some of the pearl mist from Prima. You can do it on your craft mat too, or on any other smooth surface. I mixed the inks with the pearl mist and dropped it on the paper, just having fun and keep adding ink till you like it, I also splatter on some inks, no technique required, lol. Because you are using the pearl mist instead of water, you will get a nice sparkle!
Set the background aside to dry, and stamp the sheep on a different piece of watercolour paper in versafine black, I heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. The sheep are watercoloured the same way, with the pearl mist, and some pumice stone distress ink and a little bit of worn lipstick for the faces.
The stamps are from Poppy stamps and they come with match dies, so cutting them out is quick and easy!
They are popped up with some foam tape, sentiment is stamped in versafine black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, some sequins to finish it off with some twine along the bottom.
Hope you like it! Till next time, Anja
